Condition costs less here than you might expect. Grade A pays $1,900 unlocked and Grade C still pays $1,700 — a $200 spread, roughly 11%. Scratches and a tired screen will not gut the offer on an iPhone 18 Pro Max 2TB.
Carrier lock is the single biggest lever on this model. Unlocked, Grade A pays $1,900; locked to a carrier it is $840. If your contract is finished, asking your carrier to unlock it before you come in is worth $1,060 for a phone call.
Never opened? A sealed iPhone 18 Pro Max 2TB carries a $230 premium over a used Grade A one — $2,130 against $1,900. Bring the box and the seal intact and say so at the counter.
