Condition costs less here than you might expect. Grade A pays $1,210 unlocked and Grade C still pays $1,010 — a $200 spread, roughly 17%. Scratches and a tired screen will not gut the offer on an iPhone 18 Pro Max 512GB.
Carrier lock is the single biggest lever on this model. Unlocked, Grade A pays $1,210; locked to a carrier it is $760. If your contract is finished, asking your carrier to unlock it before you come in is worth $450 for a phone call.
Never opened? A sealed iPhone 18 Pro Max 512GB carries a $200 premium over a used Grade A one — $1,410 against $1,210. Bring the box and the seal intact and say so at the counter.
