Condition matters more on this model than on most. A clean Galaxy S21 Ultra in Grade A brings $112 unlocked; the same phone with a cracked screen and worn edges drops to $56. That is $56 of the value sitting in the glass and the housing — about 50% of what the device is worth.
Carrier lock is the single biggest lever on this model. Unlocked, Grade A pays $112; locked to a carrier it is $79. If your contract is finished, asking your carrier to unlock it before you come in is worth $33 for a phone call.
