Condition matters more on this model than on most. A clean Galaxy S22 Ultra in Grade A brings $158 unlocked; the same phone with a cracked screen and worn edges drops to $75. That is $83 of the value sitting in the glass and the housing — about 53% of what the device is worth.
Carrier lock is the single biggest lever on this model. Unlocked, Grade A pays $158; locked to a carrier it is $105. If your contract is finished, asking your carrier to unlock it before you come in is worth $53 for a phone call.
