Condition matters more on this model than on most. A clean Galaxy S23 Ultra in Grade A brings $214 unlocked; the same phone with a cracked screen and worn edges drops to $109. That is $105 of the value sitting in the glass and the housing — about 49% of what the device is worth.
Carrier lock is the single biggest lever on this model. Unlocked, Grade A pays $214; locked to a carrier it is $158. If your contract is finished, asking your carrier to unlock it before you come in is worth $56 for a phone call.
