Condition matters more on this model than on most. A clean Galaxy S24 Plus in Grade A brings $184 unlocked; the same phone with a cracked screen and worn edges drops to $105. That is $79 of the value sitting in the glass and the housing — about 43% of what the device is worth.
Carrier lock is the single biggest lever on this model. Unlocked, Grade A pays $184; locked to a carrier it is $101. If your contract is finished, asking your carrier to unlock it before you come in is worth $83 for a phone call.
Never opened? A sealed Galaxy S24 Plus carries a $56 premium over a used Grade A one — $240 against $184. Bring the box and the seal intact and say so at the counter.
